By Charles Delvalle Is there any doubt that there’s a speculative bubble in Chinese companies? With that in mind, reader John S asked: Alibaba, China's second-most popular Internet search engine behind Baidu (BIDU), is going public today on the Hong Kong stock exchange. The IPO is priced at $13.50, but shares are expected to hit the tape at almost twice that price. Charles, could this be true? Regards, John |

By Jeff Clark Who will save us now? In the 1950s, there was an old television show called "The Cisco Kid." By Rick Pendergraft After last week’s incredibly busy schedule of reports, this week should be a little calmer. But it is still filled with important reports. The first one will come out at 10:00 this morning in the form of the Institute for Supply Management’s Services Index. |

Did you know that as of September 2007, Warren Buffet is the second richest man in the world with a net worth of around $52 Billion. The core of his strategy was investing in insurance companies, due to the large cash reserves they must keep on hand to pay out future claims. Essentially, the insurer does not own the reserve, but may invest it and keep any proceeds. |

By Charles Delvalle On Wednesday, I wrote a small brief that said silver, gold, and platinum are all overrated. And just like clockwork, I got a few e-mails asking me to clarify my position. As many of you already know, I love silver. |
