Good morning readers, Some huge news was released yesterday which could affect our latest “stock-on-the-move”, ICP Solar Technologies (ICPR); which we’re currently eying for quick gains in the short term, with perhaps a double to triple in the mid term. Applied Materials Inc, a $25 billion company, announced that it would buy Baccini S.p.A., an Italian solar company, to expand its own solar business. Applied Materials will pay an astounding $330 million for privately held Baccini. This news could spark a huge bidding war by global powerhouses for other solar companies, like ICP Solar Technologies. General Electric’s CEO, John Krenicki recently predicted GE's solar energy business would grow more than 25 percent each year. "We think solar will be the next wind in terms of renewables," he said. Solar is red hot. And ICP Solar Technologies is our top pick in the field, for obvious reasons. And GE recently announced that it reached an agreement to acquire a minority equity interest in PrimeStar Solar, Inc. According to Victor Abate, the VP of renewables at GE Energy, "solar energy will play an important role in the future of the global energy market and is an integral part of our renewables portfolio.” While we’re not sure if there’s interest from the likes of a General Electric or Applied Material in ICP Solar Technologies right now, we are certain that ICP Solar is a dynamic company which could very well be on the radar screen of the big boys. One of the many reasons it’s on our radar screen for quick gains in stock price. Another reason: ICP Solar announced it will be selling its Coleman Solar Generator Kit at Costco (yes, that’s Coleman, the hunting, fishing and camping giant who’s a partner with ICP Solar). This could very well be their hottest selling product. ICP Solar, Coleman and Costco… huge.ICP Solar is heavy into the multi billion dollar hunting, fishing and camping market, and with this launch, we could very well see ICP Solar become a household (make that outdoor) name. The full report on ICP Solar Technologies should be available either tomorrow or Thursday. As promised tt will be in your hands as soon as possible. In the meantime, you should read more about ICPR in the news section of Yahoo Finance, or through your trading platform.
Have a happy Thanksgiving. Small-Cap Wealth
