Brite Strike Technologies is a tactical police equipment manufacturer, whose customers include state, local and federal police departments, the U.S. Coast Guard, FBI, DEA, and United States military. Many of their products have been designed for private citizens as well. Their Lightning Strike series was developed to help women protect themselves against potential assaults, making Brite Strike a key player in the burgeoning market for personal self-defense systems. The company is also making inroads into the multi-billion dollar construction industry, where they expect to compete with Surefire and Maglite. Current Retailers The company recently received its first major order from BJs Club stores in the US and is anticipating a major follow up order at the end of the summer. In August, home improvement giant Lowes will be offering their products though its online store Lowes.com. Other current retailers are Brookstone, Herringtons, Frontgate, and Sky Mall catalogues. Tactical Lighting is a $2 Billion Market Brite Strike's tactical Blue-Dot Series was specifically designed for use by Police Officers, of which there are more than 660,000 in the United States. This is not to mention other law enforcement and security agencies -- such as the the FBI, CIA, DEA, and US Military -- whose budgets have skyrocketed in recent years due to the growing security threats around the globe. Going Global Many countries in Europe have also been busy enhancing their security and law enforcement capabilities, and Brite Strike is providing products for that market as well. In fact, European sales are currently exploding, with Brite Strike receiving major orders after its recent attendance at the German Shot Show and Bel-Lux conference. Brite Strike is planning on opening a UK office in the fall. Recent Feature on NECN A report on Brite Strike was recently broadcast on New England Cable News. The feature includes information on Brite Strike products, demonstrations of how these products work, and interviews with Brite Strike management.
The Tactical Blue Dot sells for up to $200, yet costs only $23 to manufacture, making for a profit of nearly 10 times cost. Meanwhile the Lightning Strike Personal Protection System for women, which sells for up to $85 in stores, costs only $20 to produce -- a profit of more than %400. State-of-the-Art Technology Brite-Strike only uses the latest technology, world class components, and highest design and manufacturing standards. One way this is done is by employing the latest Luxeon LED and EMP chip technology, as older LED and incandescent lighting technology cannot compare. Brite Strike's products are 15 times brighter than any other hand held light in the world. The Tactical Blue-Dot? Series, designed to be an essential article of police gear, is virtually indestructible, with a mil-spec, black anodized aluminum casing that is waterproof, shock-proof, and designed with a unique, ergonomic grip. The Protector Series is made with the same high-quality and precision craftsmanship as the Blue Dot Series and utilizes 65 lumens of brilliant, flawless white light to momentarily blind and disorient an attacker. The unique "Tactical Touch" end cap switch allows the user to switch from high to low to blinding strobe settings, all with a light touch of your finger. Working with Philips Malaysia Another way in which Brite Strike is ensuring the highest technological standards is through their relationship with global electronics giant Philips. Much of the Brite Strike technology is developed and manufactured through Philips Malaysia. The Next TASR?
