TADF could become a monster during this time! TADF is in a sector that is unceasingly backed financially. Let's admit it - there is always money for war. The U.S. relies on companies like TADF. Good training plays a critical role in a jet fighter's life. Last month, the US House of Representatives passed a defense appropriations bill containing nearly $460 billion in funding for the US military in fiscal 2008!TADF is positioning itself to utilize fully functional F-16 fighters for its new pilot training as well as its DACT (Dissimilar Air Combat Training) exercises. Growing international training requirements as well as an increasing foreign supply of F-16 fighters have caused the demand for F-16 training services to rise dramatically. In an air-to-surface role, the F-16 can fly more than 500 miles (860 kilometers), deliver its weapons with superior accuracy, defend itself against enemy aircraft, and return to its starting point. The U.S. government delivered two F-16 fighter aircraft on July 10, 2007 to the Pakistan Air Force at Mushaf airbase in Sargodha. The delivery of 24 more F-16 fighter aircraft from the U.S. Air Force is planned for the near future! TADF knows that the F-16 is one of the best all-around fighters and one of the most popular designs in the world. The IL-78 is capable of refueling three aircraft simultaneously. It also has numerous other capabilities as a cargo aircraft and the unique ability to operate as a fire-water bomber used to suppress wildfires. The IL-78 tankers, while designed for aerial refueling, have “waterbombing” capabilities that allow them to provide disaster relief services such as extinguishing wildfires by flying overhead at low altitudes and dispersing water or fire retardant. TADF will have a designated number of IL-76 cargo aircraft or IL-78 tankers on contract with federal and state agencies to provide these services with minimum notification. TADF realizes how much of a growing problem wildfires are. 2006 set a record both in numbers of forest fires and their size. According to the National Interagency Fire Center, a total of 96,385 fires were reported and 9.9 million acres of forest and woodland burned, a 125% increase over the 10-year average. In 2005, more than 8 million acres burned! TADF is working with a tanker that has been used to extinguish one of the largest wildfires in Australia and has been used globally for years in such disaster relief situations!
