The high of $2.10 made earlier this year was before any of the big news came out so a test of the old high in my opinion is a conservative move! Check out this picture of NRPR's warehouse that I took on my visit: This is not your mom and pop operation, the place is so big you can build a skate park inside it. Here is picture of NRPR's lab where they test the powders: NRPR can cater to so many markets. It's pretty remarkable!Although NRPR's most promising sector is pharmaceuticals, NRPR's innovative patent-pending O2P(TM) Powderization process can also be applied in several other sectors like the cosmetics industry, the pet food industry, and the dietary supplement industry.NRPR's powders can create a functional food and can turn cosmetics into skin care. NRPR's powders could see big profits in the cosmetics industry; an industry who's global market for cosmetics and toiletries ingredients was estimated to be around $14.7 billion in 2005! NRPR could also see huge gains in both the pet industry and the dietary supplement industry. According to the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association (APPMA), the pet industry reached $36.3 billion in the U.S. in 2005. The APPMA estimated that 63% of households own some kind of pet.
Patrick Rea, editor of the market research publication Nutrition Business Journal, said that total sales for the U.S. dietary supplement industry in 2006 were estimated at $22.1 billion! NRPR is one of a select few to be awarded the prestigious Nutrition Business Journal "Product Merit Award" for its patent-pending O2P(TM) Powderization process. NRPR realizes that by using O2P Powders instead of fluid oil reduces transport and storage costs. This can include the savings of not having to use refrigerated trucks or on-site cold rooms. By converting to powder, you remove excess moisture which inhibits microbial growth and increases shelf-life, longer shelf-life translates into longer sales life. Just this September, NRPR announced that it has again received renewal of its Kosher certification for the company's O2P(TM) family of oil powders. Kosher certification guarantees that both the ingredients and manufacturing equipment used to produce O2P(TM) Powders meet the stringent requirements of "Kashrus" or Jewish dietary laws. NRPR president and CEO, Godfrey Yew said, "Maintaining our Kosher certification is important for the present and future growth of our company. Kosher certification is further proof of our commitment to providing the highest quality, purity and consistency in our O2P powdered oils to the food and nutraceutical industries." NRPR's proprietary process allows them to transform most edible oils into a powder form that is more effective, more appealing and more flexible to package than existing powders! NRPR already offers more than 50 shelf-stable powders! NRPR's powders contain no gelatin or other animal by-products! Some of NRPR's products are: O2P Borage Seed Oil Powder and O2P Cod Liver Oil Powder NRPR's O2P Cod Liver Oil Powder contains two unique omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, which may help lower triglyceride levels in the blood, thus maintaining cardiovascular health. Cod liver oil also has anti-inflammatory properties and may be effective in preventing cancer. More than 80 million people are expected to die in the next 10 years but NRPR's Cod Liver Oil may reduce this number! NRPR's O2P Borage Seed Oil Powder can help to regulate inflammation, blood clotting and nerve transmission. Borage Seed oil may help to alleviate the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and high blood pressure. More than 40 million Americans suffer from some form of arthritis! All of NRPR's powders are available in a direct compressible form (a capsule), meaning additional savings when used as a health food supplement. According to findings from the Natural Marketing Institute's annual research study of 2,000+ United States consumer households, retail sales within the consumer packaged goods health and wellness industry reached $68 billion in 2004!
